Glycerin Distillation Process
Adding a Glycerin Distillation System to an existing Biodiesel Plant will bring in additional revenue. The typical price per lb of crude Glycerin is 2 to 5 cents/lb, and the price per pound of Glycerin increases drastically once the purity of Glycerin is at or above 99.7%. The typical price of 99.7% pure Glycerin from multi-feedstock facility is around 25 to 27 cents/lb.
We can build a turnkey standalone system that can process crude Glycerin or integrate into your existing Biodiesel operations.
We preprocess the crude glycerin produced by your Biodiesel refinery and separate various components (Fats, Methanol, Water and Glycerin) and purify the Glycerin to above 99.7%+ purity. And Methanol to over 99.9% purity and sell or reuse FFA. The system is continuous and automated. 99.9%+ purity is optional.
