January 2011 - Single Stage Biodiesel process

Jatrodiesel unveils brand new process which eliminates the usage of Homogenous catalyst such as Sodium Methylate and multiple stages of process (Esterification and Transesterification).

Jatrodiesel's R&D lab has been working on the process for the past 2 years. The process cuts the multi-stage traditional process to process high FFA oils to a Single Stage process and completely eliminates the usage of the traditional homogenous catalyst and enzymes.

The process is pilot tested at Jatrodiesel's offices in Dayton, OH. And is offered for a commercial installation.
